Connection - Compassion - Comfort
Support Hearts were created to help you show up for your loved ones....a vehicle for connection, compassion, and comfort. It is not the heart, per se, but rather the love exchanged in giving and receiving one.

Warm greetings from the Pacific Northwest!

I love my Oregon.
I love my (big) kids.
I love art.
I love creating.
I love LOVE!

The Great Heart Adventure actually began back 2008 as Jen started making fused glass hearts to give to friends going through really tough times. Hearts with a handwritten note became her "go to" gift for acknowledging the pain in such life events as divorce, cancer diagnosis, miscarriage, stroke, and loss of a loved one. Several friends held their heart through chemo and marveled at the comfort that the heart and loving sentiment had brought them. She often brought hearts as a gift when visiting loved ones in the hospital. They make for a wonderful worry stone of sorts and brighten up an often clinical hospital tray table without taking up too much space. She secured the domain name Give Your Heart Away with the intention of bringing Support Hearts to hospital gift shops as an alternative to the traditional flowers, balloons, and stuffed animals. Life, as it often does, took her on a topsy turvy journey for the next 12 years through divorce, chronic illness and raising two active teenagers. The project was finally brought to fruition May of 2020....just in time for the shut down due to covid. Jen took great pleasure in sending out over 500 Support Hearts in care packages to doctors and nurses serving in overburdened health care systems early in the pandemic.
